Acted for TZK in granting a loan to Sun Myat Tun Construction Co Ltd (“Borrower”) for purposes of financing the redevelopment of the Mingalar Market, which is a prominent market in Yangon, Myanmar.
Our scope of work included preparing a shareholder’s loan agreement between the existing shareholders of the Borrower and TZK in light of the prevailing restrictions against one private company extending a loan to another unrelated company, as well as assisting with the preparation of documentation for the corporate and personal guarantees provided by the Borrower’s affiliates
