- Patrick Ang, Vice-Chairman of Rajah & Tann Asia and former Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann Singapore, was awarded Managing Partner of the Year (Singapore)
- Dr Min Thein, Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann Myanmar, received Managing Partner of the Year (Emerging Markets)
Kala Anandarajah, Head of the Competition & Antitrust and Trade Practice, was named Woman Lawyer of the Year, an honour that reflects her influence in shaping the legal landscape and her dedication to driving the profession forward.
A standout transaction earned Debt Market Deal of the Year for our Indonesia member firm, Assegaf Hamzah & Partners (“AHP“), in recognition of their role in the Government of Indonesia’s Global Sukuk Issuance. Led by Partner Mohammad Renaldi Zulkarnain and supported by Senior Associate Aji Suryo Utomo, AHP acted as Indonesian counsel to the Joint Lead Managers and Joint Bookrunners in the USD2.35 billion issuance, which was structured under the Shari’a principle of Wakala and dual-listed on the Singapore Exchange and NASDAQ Dubai.
