US$2.5 million acquisition of two cruise vessels by Na Ka Chemical Import Export Co Ltd

Acted as the transaction counsel for Na Ka in its acquisition of 2 cruise vessels, namely, Strand Cruise and Road to Mandalay. Given the highly regulated nature of the vessels that are plying in Myanmar waters as well as the differing states of registration of the vessels in their respective flag states, we advised on the structuring of the acquisition of the vessels. Our scope of work included assistance with legal due diligence on the vessels and their holding companies, as well as preparing and negotiating the transaction documents.
