Acted for Delta Corporation in the acquisition of 30% of the shares in Delta AIG Company Limited from AIG Co Ltd. Delta AIG Company Limited was incorporated as a joint venture company between the parties. Delta Corporation is a Japanese company that is a major manufacturer of car parts (including seats) for Mazda Motor Corporation.
Our scope of work included unwinding the joint venture between the shareholders, drafting the Sale and Purchase Agreement, and assisting with completion (including obtaining regulatory approval from the Myanmar Investment Commission).
